Iceland Adventure

Join us on an exciting adventure to the beautiful country of Iceland! We will navigate
Iceland’s legendary and scenic “Ring Road,” and traverse the magical Snæfellsnes
Peninsula. Along the way, we will visit some of the country’s most spectacular natural
attractions, including Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss and Goðafoss waterfalls and the
lunar landscapes of Lake Mývatn, complete with craters and unearthly rock formations.
We will also visit some of the most iconic locations like the must-see Blue Lagoon.
Yay God adventures has a focus on incorporating daily devotions and musical worship
into our travels. We use the opportunity of the amazing Icelandic location to
experience, see, feel, and hear God. We encourage our participants to also find time to
be still and seek the peace and joy that surpasses all understanding. Small group
adventures allow for fellowship and invigorating conversations with fellow Christians

$4800 per person based on double occupancy
Single supplement additional fee $1000
Deposit of $1000 per person is due at time of booking

Cancellation:
● A full refund will be issued if the participant is unable to travel due to
COVID-19 illness.
● Cancellations must be received in writing
● Full refund if cancelled within 2 weeks of start of trip
● 50% refund if cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the trip
COVID
● Travel restrictions are in place for US citizens to travel to Iceland. Restrictions
change frequently so please follow Travel Restrictions (joinsherpa.com) for the
most up to date information.
● Full vaccination with booster is preferred and recommended, but not required.
● If a participant is not fully vaccinated and boosted, the participant is responsible
for meeting the entry requirements with or without quarantine. If an unvaccinated
participant is denied entry into Iceland, Yay God Ministries will not be held
responsible and no refunds can be issued.
Worship Leader: Mike Donehey
Mike Donehey has seen his fair share of the unexpected. Following a potentially
fatal car crash as a teen, Mike learned to play the guitar while still in bed
recovering from his injuries. Learning the guitar quickly gave birth to songwriting,
and that songwriting quickly led to the formation of a band. That band, Tenth
Avenue North, became one of the most loved and successful artists in Christian
music. Beginning with their acclaimed national debut, Over and Underneath,
Tenth Avenue North’s audience multiplied with each new album and hit song like
radio favorites “Love Is Here,” “By Your Side,” “You Are More,” “Losing,” “Worn,”
“I Have This Hope,” and multi-week no. 1 smash “Control (Somehow You Want
Me).”
At the beginning of 2020, Despite widespread notoriety and a devout following,
Tenth Avenue North’s members began to sense they each had their own
unexpected and unique roads to follow.
Mike has seized this opportunity, reveling in the excitement to expand as a
storyteller, communicator and thought instigator wherever his voice is heard.
Mike’s acclaimed book, Finding God’s Life for My Will, was an immediate
best-seller upon its release. Mike’s new podcast, Chasing the Beauty, will look for
the joy of God in the places we didn’t think it could be. But perhaps most exciting,
Mike has been feverishly writing and producing new music for an upcoming
debut solo album. Being one of music industry’s most exciting and engaging live
performers and speakers, live appearances will undoubtedly continue to be a big
part of his story going forward.
