What is Yay God?

In 2007 we had our first family vacation at Wind River Ranch in Estes Park, CO.  Wind River Ranch is a Christian family dude ranch which provides a great location and numerous activities for a family vacation.  What we were not expecting, was the power of the Holy Spirit and the fellowship with other families of faith.  This experience was overwhelming and one we will never forget.

We have vacationed at Wind River Ranch for over 10 years.  As we traveled to other destinations like Bora Bora, Iceland, Patagonia, Argentina and several others--we realized that something was missing.  It was the fellowship and the worship with fellow believers in Christ.  God has made an amazing world for us to explore.  Experiencing His grand creation with worship and fellowship takes these vacations to a whole new level.  On one of our hikes to a beautiful mountain lake with a group of Christian friends, we were overwhelmed with the power of the Holy Spirit and the beauty of God’s creation.  We felt we needed to yell from the mountaintop, “Yay God!”  And so we did.

We now begin a new chapter with Yay God Adventure Ministries.  Our goal is to travel the world to find beautiful places to hike, boat, bike, kayak, and explore--all while having daily fellowship and worship with fellow believers in Christ.  We hope that our travels will allow us to experience adventures yet also find time to be still and find the peace and joy that surpasses all understanding.  The small group adventure travel experience will allow us to form bonds and lasting friendships.

As our ministry grows, we hope to participate in missions and serve or minister to those in the communities where we travel.  We aspire to sponsor ministry opportunities at Wind River Ranch and pour into the organization that inspired our ministry.  We feel so blessed in our lives and strive to allow the love of Jesus shine through all we do and that God's plan for this ministry will unfold.

We hope you will join us for an adventure of a lifetime!

Yay God!
